In Hawaiian, Ho‘okena means, “to satisfy thirst.” It is also a district in South Kona known for its beautiful beach, Pūhau spring, Lelekawa swimming hole, Kupa (Cooper’s) Landing and Kapewaokamanini Bay.

Ho`okena has traveled the world sharing their harmonious music, recently being honored to have performed at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City in May of 2013, and recently being requested
to do a repeat perfoarmance at Carnegie Hall next year May 29, 2014. Whether playing for thousands of concertgoers, an intimate gathering or a practice jam session, Ho‘okena will continue to share their
